Bought A Home With Smart-devices, New Owner Won't Remove Things From Their Account

Central FL
I recently purchased a home that is relatively new. It has several smart products (Can use bluetooth/wi-fi to open them remotely) that I can not reset when they are tied to an account, namely the front door lock and two garage doors (Both garage doors are separate devices).
Not only would I like to use these integrations for myself, but there seems to be a risk that either the prior owner, or someone who has access to their account can simply open my front door/garage unless I replace all 3 devices, at significant expense (Or perhaps try to intentionally break them in the meantime, and I certainly want the regular garage remote to keep working). The garage door vs front door lock are two separate companies that both have a policy of "Only the account owner can unlink a device".
The prior owner has said they tried to remove it and can't seem to figure it out. Am I limited to only relying on them being "Nice" to resolve this, or can this be considered a failure to fully turn over the home to me? I feel like if I say "Please fix this or pay $500", they are likely to either fix it or completely ghost me, so I would like to hold off on that unless the threat has teeth.
Thanks.
