Bosses Forcing On-call Past 40 Hours

Card image cap

So I work a job that is paid hourly for 40 hours every week. The bosses have decided to add on-call weekends wherein we have to essentially wait and be available for the full 48 hours to take tickets that come in. They're paying us a flat 70 bucks to be available (this amounting to less than $1.50 for the 48 hours) and time-and-a-half for clocked-in work done on the tickets that come in. I work in Wisconsin and was wondering if this was legal. I'm perfectly willing to do the work (my job is MOSTLY monitoring anyways) as long as I'm compensated. To me, since this disrupts any plans or leisure activity I have for the weekend, this should be a case of "you're being paid overtime". Am I being naive or is what they're doing something snakey?
