Birth Gone Wrong

I went in for my 36 weeks scan to check my son’s positioning. I was on pelvic rest due to a chance of bleeding since 20 weeks. The ultrasound tech did a normal ultrasound and then vaginal. I think she did this because she has someone mentoring with her and wanted her to be able to see. She was very rude when I questioned her. I should have just walked out. I had not had any vaginal ultrasounds at all up until this visit or ever in my life and this was my second child. I couldn’t even have cervical checks. After this appointment I felt off like something was wrong - I told my doctor this after getting the scan but I found out I had preeclampsia so I feel like it was dismissed. She was very rough and I was so uncomfortable. My placenta burst this night and I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency c section because of bleeding. I have told a few providers and nurses about what this ultrasound tech did and they were SHOCKED. I am not sure I can prove anything (I had no complications or bleeding before this appointment) and luckily my son is healthy and doing great. A few people think I should go after the hospital for this. Do I have a chance to win a case here? I wouldn’t even know where to start. Sorry for TMI if this makes you uncomfortable! My OB is absolutely amazing and this is no fault of him and I don’t want him to be held accountable because he didn’t order the vaginal scan just the normal.
