Am I Legally Obligated To Pick My Father Up From The Hospital?

My father wasn't the best parent. He was in and out of jail, has a history of drug use and is now disabled. He was rushed to the hospital this morning for an emergency surgery. He lives alone in a house that has no running water. By being his point of contact with the hospital, does this obligate me to bring him home with me or even find long term care for him? Even if our relationship wasn't strained, he could not live with me. I have no desire to care for a man who didnt want a relationship with me until he could no longer function normally. I also have three kids and am a stay at home mom barely making it by. I can't afford to bring him here. We are in Georgia.
