Robert “Cappy” John Capra, 77, of Bridgton, ME and formerly Quincy, MA, passed away on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 in Auburn, Maine.

Cappy was born in Boston on February 14, 1938 to Henry and Celeste Capra. He is survived by his daughters Gina M. Capra of Somerville, MA, Taryn M. Capra of Portland, ME, Robin (Clifford) Jordan of Weymouth, MA, Dawn (Clifford) McNair of FL, and Karen (Clifford) Stenstrom of Hanson, MA.

Other surviving family members include his sister, Jean Powers of Stuart, FL, formally of Brockton, MA, his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Ava Capra of Londonderry, NH, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Those who were fortunate enough to know him, will remember Cappy's beautiful, gentle, kind and creative soul. He adored his children, generously cared for others in need, and had a great love for animals. Cappy was playful, imaginative and youthful- even into his old age. He will be forever loved and missed.
