Arrested with her parents while trying to flee from Saint-Martin-de-Vésubie (Alpes-Maritimes). They were close to the Italian border, the SS arrested them in Botgo San Dalmazzo. Eliane and her parents were deported to Auschwitz o August 5, 1942 and murdered in the gas chamber a couple days later. Eliane was 20 months old.
