The Story
Monique Anne (Nikki) Buckley passed away at her home in Bellevue, Washington on November 4, 2015 at the age of 41 of an unexpected heart failure.
She is survived by three children (Marc Aaron: 17, Matthew Dean: 20, and Kijana Danielle, 22), her husband (Evan), her beloved dogs, and a large extended family.
She was born and raised in Utah, and moved around the Western U.S. until she eventually found what she called “home” in Washington.
She was a sculptor, a writer, and most recently a painter (with a degree in Fine Arts), but most of all, she was a mother.
Her life’s work was her children, and she was fiercely proud of all three.
