Elbert was a loving husband and father, he was married to Charlene Gasaway 32 years before departing on Sunday June 14, 2015. He is survived by 3 daughters ( Denene Hickman, Stacey Caldwell, Paula Lanham) 2 sons ( Shawn and Jonathan Gasaway). 11 grandchildren (Peyton, Zoe,Dylan, and Brylee Gasaway, Ben and Brinkley Goodwin, Carla and Daniel Self , Meagan Fuller, Jessica Caldwell and Rachael Martin, ) Elbert was a loving brother to 3 sisters and 3 brothers (Carl Gasaway and wife Frances Gasaway, Bonnie Yvonne Neal, Helen Cagle and husband Charles J.
