Youngest child of Carlo and Annunziata (Pirini) Valdiserra. Lived in Marzabotto, Italy. From September to October in 1944 the Nazi Germans invaded the village and killed many Italian civilians. The father survived. But Mario was sadly killed along with his mother and older sister Antoinetta (14).
