Second child of Gaetano and Ida (Santri) Sandri. Lived in Marzabotto Italy. Through September to October in 1944 the Nazi Germans invaded the village and attacked many Italian civilians. The father survived. Sadly Alfredo was killed along with his mother, his older brother Agostino (9) and his little sister Anita (2).
