This might be the strangest thing to ever come out of Rolls-Royce's design department: A flower-based leather travel bed for dogs.

It's not an available accessory, but was designed as a one-off for charity. This past weekend, auction house Bonhams held their annual Goodwoof Barkitecture Charity Sale, which asks well-known design teams to create dog domiciles to be auctioned off for dog rescue organizations.

Called Pet-All, "It is a pop-up design that can be beautifully folded for travel and opened up upon arrival," writes Anders Warming, Rolls-Royce Director of Design. "Pet-All was designed by our talented design-team and created masterfully by our incredible team of craftsmen and women here in Goodwood."

"Rolls-Royce's designers at the marque's headquarters sought inspiration from a folding flower when creating Pet-All. Each petal has been meticulously crafted from natural grain Tan leather. Once in use, a single petal can be opened to reveal a soft lambswool cushion lining to create ultimate comfort. [The aim was] to create a luxurious cocoon to accommodate a small dog. The size of Pet-all is approximately 60x60cm and is complete with leather trimmed handle and a laser engraved tag for personalisation."

The posh bed fetched £1,300 (USD $1,653). All proceeds from the event were donated to Jai Dog Rescue, an organization that rescues street dogs in Thailand.
