Despite her initial reserve, Ferrell is a calm companion who enjoys sitting on the couch, watching TV, and relaxing with her people in the evenings. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Red Velvet (Who also responds to Rosy) is a super sweet 4.5-year-old terrier mix. She's 12 pounds of licks and nibbles and lots of love. She would be a great addition to any family. She likes using the wee wee pad more than outdoors and has had some trouble with aim. She does well on walks but is skittish around big, new things. I often carry her in a bag and she's happy to be there too. She is currently in a foster home with two doggies and a cat brother. She likes to play with them and is at ease being a part of the pack.
