Peloton And Canada Pooch Launch Limited-edition Pet Fitness Accessories

(PRESS RELEASE) As the weather warms and more people add outdoor workouts to their fitness routines, Peloton has launched the Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection, a curated collection of pet-friendly classes enabling pets to join its ‘parents’ during workouts. Whether laying out on yoga mats or trying to get their human’s attention while mid-squat, many know pets often “interrupt” workouts – however instead of asking them to play elsewhere, the Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection invites pet parents to lean in and have furry family members join in on their fitness routine.

In the recent spring installment of The Peloton Report, a fitness and wellness study, over 7 in 10 Americans shared that they consider walking a pet a workout. To ensure pets can work out safely, Peloton has collaborated with Canada Pooch, the high-quality dog apparel and accessories brand, to create a limited-edition collection of co-branded accessories meant for keeping pups cool and refreshed this summer.

The co-branded accessories include cooling bandanas and waterproof leashes. Canada Pooch’s cooling bandanas are made with a special fabric that retains water, providing pets with a cooling sensation. The waterproof leash has a coated webbing that makes it super easy to clean and keep stink-free.

The Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection will include a curated collection of on-demand outdoor and floor, pet-friendly classes. Classes include a new 10-minute meditation, a 15-minute outdoor run, and a 10-minute body strength training class led by a few of Peloton’s pet parent Instructors including Andy Speer, Nico Sarani, and Jess Sims. These quick and effective classes will ensure Members stay on track with fitness goals while allowing pets to join in on the fun.

Launching in time to celebrate National Pet Appreciation Week, the Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection will be available on the Peloton App beginning June 6. The co-branded Canada Pooch and Peloton Pet-Friendly Fitness Collection accessories will be available for purchase here on June 4, while supplies last.
