They’re My Concert Tickets, Right?

Card image cap

Hello,

A few months ago, I purchased four concert tickets for a June concert. Since then, one of the friends I invited had a falling out with me. The friendship is over. I was going to just sell my ticket so they could go instead…but as I thought more about it- I was the one to initiate and invite them. The tickets were purchased by me and are under my name.

I really want to go to this concert. Do I have the right to refund the person their money and invite someone else? I do not think it is fair that they can benefit from my efforts in organizing this while treating me horribly. I do not believe the ticket cost to be worth going to small claims court. It’s less than $100.

Thank you for any help. I think I’m blinded by frustration and disappointment at this point in time.
