Still Being Charged Rent Fees 4 Years Later.

I signed rental agreement and wrote check for move in fees ($670). I was taken to jail the next day and was unable to get money in bank to cover check and check did bounce. I was able to have a friend tell them what happened. She stated they told her the check bounded and the girl working will let the supervisor know. After being released and attending half way house we had budget class that ran out credit reports to see where we were at. This when i found out that it's to collections and I've been charged since the day I was supposed to move in. It's currently over 10,000 now and scheduled to stop 9/2025. I was never served or notified. I've disputed credit charges, but is there anything else I can do?
