Stepfather Sold House And Evicted Brother After Mother's Death

TLDR: After my mother's death, my stepfather evicted my brother and sold the house, despite my mother's wishes. Is there any legal recourse?
Full story: My mother died several months ago. She had been in poor health for quite a while, and she and my stepfather had been relying significantly on my brother, whose family lived in the old farmhouse with them. My brother was making significant efforts to repair and remodel the house over the last 10 years, including putting on a new roof, putting in a new kitchen, and generally caring for the house and the working farm.
My mother was well prepared. She had spoken to all of her 8 children and stepchildren and we all agreed that my brother should inherit the house, which was her only real asset. In the will she left the house to her husband, should he survive her, and otherwise to my brother, and explained in great detail how my brother had supported her, and that all other children requested no stake in the house.
When she died, my stepfather was the executor. His daughter went around to each child and stepchild, including my brother, to obtain quitclaim deeds from us all. She claimed that this was to expedite the transfer of the deed. However, as soon as all quitclaim deeds were filed, my stepfather moved out of the house, evicted my brother, and sold the property to a friend at below market rate.
The kicker for us was, my brother could afford to have bought it at the same rate, if that's relevant. And the property is basically my mother's grave since we spread her ashes in the garden.
It seems pretty airtight, we were all convinced to sign documents clearly stating we have no claims, but do we have any legal recourse?
