So I Am One Of The Only People Standing Up For My Employees In The Union. Also Within 24hrs After Informing My Bosses Of Violations I Got Switched To A New Position.
So I am an employee and the management is not treating my people right. The people won’t file grievances and such, management isn’t allowed to work due to union. But they keep doing it. I keep sticking my neck out.
As of yesterday, I went over my allotted time of 5 hours and emailed my bosses about it. Next day I am written up for insubordination and moved to a different shift. However due to my position, I am not allowed to leave the other employees to work by themselves which forced me to be there till about 12:30. We started at 5. Bosses emailed me back and said they have no proof work was being done at this point so essentially there’s no reason as to why we were there for so long. However I have payroll and confirmation from my coworkers they left at 12 with me and security has footage of it. So yeah Also management is going behind the back of the union to try and not back pay the workers for all the hours management hasn’t paid them, saying they willing left work even though I got texts telling em to go home before they’re contractual garuntees.
