Restraining Order Guidance
this may sound stupid. super short but, my ex and his friends roofied me many years ago. i got over it & he spent the last few years convincing me he is a better person. we went out to dinner last week because we wanted proper closure and he made me think it was a safe space to talk about the trauma. he didn’t like what he heard and he told those friends. one said “i would just kill her and do the 25 years to life”. the ex owns a gun and now i’m scared. he made a joke about shooting me when he first got it. why send a screenshot of those messages unless to scare me or if he really intends to do something. is this grounds for a restraining order? or do i just deal with it. so many men nowadays kill women for seemingly nothing….
