My I Bought My Dad A Headstone And “sister”threatening To Destroy It.
Title basically sums it up. Me 18 (M) bought a headstone for my late father. My father adopted me he was and still is my true father in my eyes. But his daughter who’s a horrible person IMO was late to his funeral is kicking out grandmother out of the house my father bought for her ETC. it’s been 8 months since the old man died and no one bought a headstone. The thought of that was on my mind really heavy I ship off to Paris island in 2 weeks and his birthday is coming up so I felt the need to get one. Like I said I’m 18 my “sister” and her boyfriend are going on 40. Out of the entire family of fully grown people me at 18 worked overtime sold my truck did side jobs to afford it 1400$ USD. She got very very very angry I bought it. My grandma cousins aunts etc were ecstatic I bought him a headstone ! My “sister” said it was shitty and she had a “plan” ready for a headstone. Bullshit it’s been 8 months she’s literally a dope head has been and always will be. She’s really just angry I bought it not her ? I’m not sure what goes through her brain honestly. But she’s threating to destroy it once it’s put in I have a recording of her saying she will “do what she has to do” when it gets made not sure what the legal grounds are for that or etc. help is appreciated. Hopefully since I got a very customized one and it will take 6-8 months to be made she will just forget about it since she’s always so doped up anyways.
EDIT: keep in mind me spending 1400$ is not easy ! Just because I’m 18. I live in a house with me and my fiance. 1500$ a month rent it’s a large house. I have a bike payment on a 2022 gsxr 750, a snap on tool truck bill if yk yk. Utilities, gas, groceries, insurance, just living expense. So me being able to save 1400$ and then spend it is a huge deal. Just wanted to clear the air there.
