Lawyer Trying To Bill Me 7 Months After Decree Has Been Filed?

Hello,

Quick question as I’m having a hard time finding a straight answer. I’m in Texas and got divorced. Our decree was filed in September 2023. I just received a bill from my attorney dated for 4/12/2024 for someone (was not from me and I’m not sure who sent it) sending them an email (on 4/12/2024) asking for a copy of the decree.

She billed me for 1. Reading the email and 2. The copy of the decree to send to this person.

My attorney has never actually sent me a copy of my own.

My question is, didn’t our attorney/client relationship come to a natural end once the decree has been filed? Can she still bill me months later on recent matters?
