Jury Duty
So, I've been away from home for 2-3 months. Was home for a few days, grabbed a few things, including my mail. Out of town again and while checking my mail I realized I not only missed a jury duty summons but on the 28th (tomorrow) I need to go in at 8:30 am for failing to appear for jury duty. I will not be able to make it and given today is a holiday I don't think their phone lines will even be open until tomorrow? This I'm not sure about but I'll try to call shortly to see. If I don't go in and don't manage to reach anyone to discuss what's going on how much trouble am I possibly looking at here? This is in California, btw.
