It Staffing Firm Is Trying To Threatened To Send Me Legal Documents Because Of My Contract.
I left one staffing firm to go another firm, working in the same company but doing something a little different. I left because it was a better opportunity for career growth. I gave them notice and said what my last day was. The recruiter asked me about the new position I didn't want to disclose that because I believe it is my personal business. A week in my new position he stated that in text that he is "holding off on legal sending me documents" which is harassment and a threat. I called and to get some clarification told me that I broke contract and I cant work within the same company in a different IT Firm, I then asked how did he get my information about my job placement? He replied that he got that information from a recruiter that works within the company that I am contracted with.
I feel already that my personal information is compromised at this point. I sent an email to the new Staffing firm to their legal team but I wanted to ask here to see if I can get some insight. I just wanted to get paid for what I am worth. I have asked countless times for reimbursement or assistance for a raise and multiple times and didn't get any help. Now it feel like he's trying to reel me back in to a hell hole. Am I a lost cause here?
