In 25 Years Of Working For The Gas Company The Guy Said It Was The Worst Furnace Install He Has Ever Seen.
This week my neighbors moved out and they said it was because the maintenance guy almost killed them by not tighting the gas lines tight to his furnace and almost gassed his family out. So I started to wonder about my furnace because it always has problems. I called the gas company and the technician was in shock how bad it was wired and the vent system has a dryer hose for ventilation. He just keep saying all kinds of stuff that was wrong with it. He said in 25 years on the job this one is the worst. He called his boss to see who we could call to get it condemned but in Montana you don't need a licensed technician or permits etc. pretty much nothing for help. He did document it with a hazard sticker and gave us paper work saying it's dangerous and should not be used. I was just wondering before I call the landlord if we will be kicked out of our rental until it is fixed and if she uses the same guy how can we make sure it's done safe. I have pictures and the gas company tech was also taking pics.
