If You Have Time To Read This Please Do. I Need All The Advice I Can Get.

hello everyone i don’t know if this is the right group to post this in but i’ll give it a try. i’m going to start off by saying this situation is genuinely so crazy & it’s dealing with a family member of mine that’s on heavy substances who is in possession of a child. if you have any experience with someone who’s in active addiction (mostly meth use) you know how they act. the conspiracy theories, thinking someone’s after them, seeing or hearing things that aren’t there, etc. it’s far more worse than that with a family member of mine.

she made a tiktok account to post her conspiracy theories. she believes she’s a clone, she thinks celebrities are mirroring her life, her dna and soul was taken, etc. as her view count went up on the videos she posted, more people kept commenting stuff like “did you forget to take your schizophrenia meds?” “i think this is the craziest thing i’ve seen in a long time” “you’re having a psychosis episode” and stuff like that. if total strangers can see that something is truly wrong with this picture, something definitely is wrong, especially since she’s in the possession of a child. she recently took her son off of his antidepressants for no reason. her son is only nine and has been hospitalized due to being su1c1dal. he isn’t in a good environment. he lives with his mother alone & when she has a “meth crash” he’s left to fend for himself.

not only that he’s missed countless days of school due to her not being able to get up when she has a “meth crash”. cps was supposedly keeping an eye on her last year because her therapist saw a meth pipe in her home. cps has done NOTHING. it was completely swept under the rug.

what you’re probably asking is “why haven’t you done anything? this child is obviously in danger” my family and i have called cps and done welfare checks multiple times. cps basically told us there’s nothing they can do and when the cops did the welfare checks they said they were completely fine. the system is completely broken. i’m furious and have no idea what to do. i haven’t even turned 20 yet and all that matters is that this child is in safe hands.
