I Was Assaulted By 2 Men, 1 I Know. Getting X-rays On My Wrist Today.

TLDR: I was pushed to the ground landed on my hands and both hurt one is swollen and has sharp pains. If it's broken I can't work esp if I need a cast. Should I seek legal action either way ?

Nothing good happens after midnight... I was outside of a bar after close chatting with people. A guy I know drunkenly told me he was going to take a girl home and f*** her. I said I doubt it casually and he blew up yelling. I walked away but he kept screaming even from 10 feet away. I was chatting with someone else and out of nowhere his nephew came up and thrust his hands into my chest knocking me down. I landed hard on my hands catching myself. As soon as I started to get up the guy I know ran over and punched me once in the head and then was pulled away by people. They tried to bait me into fighting both of them but I ended up leaving. No police were called.

It wasn't until the next morning I woke up and my wrist was swollen and I couldn't move and bend it certain ways. Sharp pains. I am getting X-rays today. My hands are my livelihood I am a bartender and drummer. I'm terrified there might be some sort of permanent nerve damage. I also have pain in my head from the punch and have had a couple of headaches. There should be clear footage from the bar's outside camera of the assault and there were several witnesses. It's been such a huge inconvenience and burden bc it's my dominant hand and I can't even use it to wipe my butt. I had to learn how to do that left handed. Everything is difficult to do now. Should I seek legal action even if it is not broke since I may have long lasting or permanent damage and have already been greatly affected? My hands are literally so important to my life and ability to make money.

The other thing is I have his first name and number but that is it. All advice appreciated
