I Learned An Old "friend" Draws And Distributes Cp

Sorry if this doesn't fit the sub, but it was the only one I could think of. I recently learned that an old friend of mine now draws and sells CP, specifically the "loli/shota guro" genre. I find this incredibly disturbing and I want to know what I can do about it. I know the obvious answer is "report it", however I don't know if anything would come from it. I have several screenshots of messages talking about the art, talking about the distribution of it, specific accounts that are being used, ect., but that's it. There's also evidence of them possibly grooming minors, as well as less concrete "evidence" of even worse activities going on behind closed doors. Is that enough to do anything? I've tried to do my own research but most of what I've found says that without any of their "art" there isn't much I can do.

I find this all simply appauling and I really feel a need to put an end to it all. If this isn't enough, I was also wondering what would be? Would I actually have to get my hands on their "art" (which also makes me concerned about getting myself into legal trouble getting this evidence). They've recently been trying to reinsert themselves into my life, and if my screenshots aren't enough I'm open to the idea of playing along and seeing if I could gather more evidence. I'm assuming that alone wouldn't be illegal of me but I also don't know the answer, so advice on that would also be more than welcome.

It's been a rollercoaster of a few days and I just really could use some advice on how to proceed.
