Getting Sued 2 Years After Car Crash

It's been two years since I crashed my car with a passenger on board, and now she's suing me. I'm currently on my parents insurance, and today they contacted my mom letting us know that my passenger at the time is suing for medical expenses. Not sure what to do, so I'll start by going into the details about what happened. We were driving on highway 500 going to a merge/on ramp to I5 southbound following the instructions by Google maps. Maps said to take an off ramp for the merge, and not knowing the area, I got onto on off ramp to an intersection. The road signs were minimal, and it was raining heavily, I distinctly remember my passenger also smoking her vape making the car a little cloudy, and before I knew it we were going about 45 miles into a T intersection. I hit the breaks as soon as I saw the intersection lights, not seeing any signs to slow down before that, and didn't have time to slow down before we went up the curb, into a park, and hit a tree. The first responder was a homeless man, who let me know it was the 12th time in the last couple months that this happened, making note of the surrounding trees stripped of their bark, and signs that had been ripped out from there posts completely bent and mangled. The first response officer also said the same thing about the amount of crashes in this area, all from people following maps directions, before getting my account of what happened. My passenger was on the side of the car that got more impact from the tree, and we were lucky that our injuries weren't too severe. I dont really remember the physical injuries she sustained, however I do remember she was in another crash a year prior, and was recovering from the mental trauma it caused. I have pictures of the crash site, and my car after being towed, but never took screenshots of my conversations with the passenger afterwards. I cut contact with her because she was anxious about me potentially suing her? And when I went to visit her or call her she'd get nervous/frustrated and start telling me not to take legal action against her. I found that behavior strange, and it made me upset she'd assume I'd do that, so I cut ties with her. Idk what to do now, and can give other details in the comments if I remember them.
