Copyright Infringement On Amazon
I make custom bolo ties and sell them on Etsy - I’ve been doing so for about a year and not had any issues. About a month ago a customer brought an Amazon listing to my attention that is my EXACT design for my disco ball bolo ties. I messaged Amazon and they did nothing - fast forward to this last week the listing is now using my design AND my listing photos directly from Etsy. Literally all my pictures taken directly off my Etsy and uploaded to their Amazon account. I don’t have a trademark on my design however I do know this is copyright infringement if not on my design, on my photos. Amazon again is telling me I can’t do anything without a trademark. Should I contact a lawyer or pursue a trademark? From my research it’s expensive and can take months to hear back.
