Child At Daycare Talks About Being Abused
My s/o works at a day care. There has been this child in her classroom that has been quite a problem. As in she shits herself 3-5 times a day. Now this child is 4, can have full conversations, potty trained, etc. however the child lies about needing to go potty, and lies about having shit herself, and is just a headache to constantly have to clean up.
Now oddly, the parents are aware of this problem, but the only thing they do is send the child to daycare with a bag of extra underwear (not diapers, since they are potty trained). The child is starting to get bullied because they always smell horrible, and are excluded from things like pool days because they constantly poop in the water, etc.
Today, the child came up to my s/o and said that mommy hates her. When asked why, the child says mommy says they are stupid and dumb and hits them. Turns out the mother is also feeding the child miralax every single day for some reason. My s/o asked the child the same series of questions later in the day and the answers were similar enough that my s/o believed this was a legitimate thing and brought it up to her boss. The boss was more or less dismissive, and the conclusion was “we will just keep an eye out for bruises on her”. Now my s/o is obligated to report, so she was doing what she was supposed to do, but im curious if something more serious happens, will it bite her in the ass for not doing enough.
