Assaulted Off Bike- Ran Over. Cops Wants To Charge Me For Felony Riot.
Long story short- on Mondays people go on rides with Honda groms and registered 110 pitbikes. A man came out, walking, and punched me in the head while on my bike. I fell off and got ran over by bikes behind me.
The cops want me to name off everyone in the ride, ( I don’t even know names) and are trying to say I never got hit in the head (I have witnesses that are neighbors of the guy who hit me in the head who would attest for me). I had to go to hospital by ambulance. They cop says instead , they are going to charge me with class b felony riot. They said they deal with people on these bikes every summer doing wheelies and basically someone has to “pay the price”. Meanwhile I’m a woman who got punched in the head and ran over. This has nothing to do with other people and whatever they have been doing. I contacted a lawyer. What do you think. My witnesses, bystanders, called the cops because they saw me get hit in the head then ran over. I’m a victim of an assault and they are trying to play a felony on me. My bike was registered, I have a bike license. It’s also not a crime to ride with other bikes on public roads.
