Any Possible Bad Outcome Pursuing Unpaid Final Paycheck After Quitting?

Massachusetts
In short, I just quit a sales job after 6 months. My boss demonstrated early and often that I would not be supported. Integrating with the cliquey work culture proved impossible and I was left completely disillusioned after a couple months.
I spent the rest of my time applying to other jobs, doing almost no work and significantly underperforming on suggested metrics. I didn’t do nothing but maybe 5% of what was expected. Outbound metrics were never firmly mandated. Among other things, when it came to light I was applying elsewhere, a drafted-then-deleted email was recovered on my work computer where I suggested my boss should go so on and so forth…
I screwed them over but as far as I can gather, I didn’t do anything illegal in abdicating my duties (and writing a very unprofessional message about boss).
It’s been two weeks and they haven’t paid out my final paycheck. Do I risk any possible legal retaliation for pursuing this money? Quick google of MA laws says it’s illegal for them to have not paid me at this point - looking to clarify this and to find out if any uno reverse card against me is possible if I try to get the money, based on what I did.
Thanks
