[va, Usa] Needing Clarity On Online Sales “cottage Law.”

I have started selling baked goods from my home. I’m aware of what I’m allowed to sell and other rules, but I’m a bit confused about the “no online sales” part. I first interpreted it as not being allowed to sell and ship baked goods, which makes sense to me since different states have different rules. But does this also mean I couldn’t collect payment online for the baked goods and have the customer come pick up their order? I know other home bakers in town who do this, but of course I don’t know their situation. It would just suck to have to wait until pickup to collect payment and I’m really wanting to set up an online ordering page.

Edit: important note I forgot, I am not licensed or working from a state inspected kitchen.
