Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV

Good news, cord-cutters: Hulu + Live TV now offers a free trial for its streaming bundle. You can try the ad-supported tier for three days to see if it's worth the monthly fee.

The bundle has become one of the most competitive live TV options available amongst the best live TV streaming services. In an age when more and more people are cutting the cord and looking for cable alternatives, Hulu's live package has risen to the top of the pack based on the sheer number of perks that come with a subscription. Subscribers get access to over 90 live TV channels, as well as ESPN+, Disney+, and regular Hulu.

We'll explain everything you need to know about Hulu + Live TV, including free trial details, pricing, plan comparison, and what a subscription includes.

Free trial details

The free trial lasts for three days. Hulu + Live TV requires your payment info, but you won't be charged until the three-day trial ends. Once the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged $76.99 for your first month. If you don't want to get charged, you must cancel the subscription before the three days are over.

Who's eligible?

The free trial is available to new users and some returning subscribers. If you canceled your Hulu subscription over a year ago, you can sign up again and get the free trial.

Plan pricing

Hulu + Live TV plans start at $76.99 a month for the ad-supported tier. Users can upgrade to a "no ads" plan for $89.99 a month, which grants access to ad-free versions of Disney+ and regular Hulu. With this plan, ESPN+ and the live TV channels will still be ad-supported. For a full breakdown of plans and prices, check out our Hulu + Live TV guide.

What comes with a subscription?

As mentioned above, subscribers get access to ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu, and over 90 live TV channels. This means that you can catch the latest episodes of The Bear, the newest Marvel series, and live baseball games all under one subscription. Exact channel availability varies from region to region (you can double-check what you're getting when you input your zip code), but most subscriptions come with everything from CNN to TNT to the NFL Network. Our Hulu + Live TV channels guide has a lengthy roundup of the networks you can expect to find with a subscription. We've also compared alternative options that we've tested ourselves in our roundup of the best live TV streaming services.

If you're interested in trying out Hulu + Live TV and qualify for the free trial, head over to the Hulu website to sign up for the free three-day trial. If you realize that it's not for you, you just need to cancel before the three-day trial period is over, and you won't have to pay a thing.
