Fashion has been far from tame at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
Celebrities, musicians, and models alike have been attending the French event this year in standout looks, ranging from bold, unexpected suits to skin-baring and sculptural dresses.
Here's a look at the most daring looks stars have worn so far.

The designer gown choice made for a full-circle fashion moment, as Campbell modeled the same piece decades earlier in 1997 on the Chanel runway.
It had the same sparkling bodice and pearl straps as the original dress, but its bold skirt was made even more daring for Campbell this year.
Rather than being straight and lined with opaque fabric, the new version's skirt was shaped with a mermaid silhouette and showcased her legs through its sheer stripe panels.

He walked the "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" red carpet wearing a cream button-up beneath a brown leather jacket. The latter piece, however, was entirely unconventional.
It was shaped with balloon sleeves, four front pockets, and fabric that extended above his shoulders — almost as if the style was too big for him.
Luar designed the garment.

She arrived wearing a black gown from Stephane Rolland, which had black chiffon sleeves that extended into gloves, a semi-sheer skirt with a hip-high slit, and a long train that flowed behind her.
But the assortment of gold embellishments across the former Miss Universe winner's chest, back, and arms really stood out.
Her 3D look was daring and almost like a work of art.

Roberto Cavalli designed her black, white, and yellow piece, crafted from a printed fabric that almost mirrored zebra stripes.
The garment also had a deep slit in the middle of Taylor's torso, which showed her tattoos and highlighted the diamond and gold jewelry she wore on the red carpet.

The model attended the festival's "Megalopolis" screening in a gray suit designed by Louis Gabriel Nouchi.
It had a swirled print from top to bottom, perfectly baggy long pants, and a blazer fitted at the waist to create a unique structure.
Mason completed his look with multicolored boots and a tiered diamond necklace.

Elie Saab designed her sparkling halter gown, which had a neckline that dipped below her chest and thin slits across its bodice and skirt.
But as daring as the dress was, it was also extremely elegant thanks to its long train and iridescent sequins.
Longoria wore the piece with diamond earrings and a statement necklace.

She walked "The Apprentice" red carpet in a strapless black gown designed by Harris Reed.
It had round cups that made for a bold neckline, a form-fitting bodice that hugged her hips, and a black-and-white mermaid skirt that mirrored a hypnosis spiral.
The influencer complemented her gown with a slicked-back hairstyle and a choker necklace.

The model has become the unofficial queen of Cannes after attending numerous times since 2016.
And her latest look proved why. Hadid walked "The Apprentice" red carpet in a brown midi dress from Saint Laurent that was almost entirely sheer.
You could see through its skirt and halter neckline, which she didn't wear a bra beneath, though the middle of the garment was thickly ruched.
Hadid wore the dress with open-toed leather pumps.

Cheney Chan designed the dramatic piece for the Norwegian-Somali model. It had long sleeves, a textured floor-length skirt, and more of the baby-blue fabric extending above her head.
She accessorized the look with blue-tinted glasses from Neubau.

She walked the "Le Comte de Monte-Cristo" red carpet in a black gown with a thick round piece wrapped around her head and torso, almost like a hooded cape.
But the dramatic piece also covered only one side of her chest, leaving her skin exposed if not for the thick layers of black cord she wore like a string top.
Stone completed her daring outfit with forearm gloves and diamond earrings.
