Parents In Two-parent Families Face Conflict And Loneliness

Parents in two-parent households are increasingly seeking support for relationship struggles and feelings of isolation, according to the latest report from the Finnish Mannerheim League for Child Welfare’s (MLL) Parent Helpline. In 2024, the service received a record 2,606 contacts, with nearly 40% coming from parents in nuclear families.
Conflicts between parents accounted for almost 70% of calls related to adult relationships.
