The Brew: Judge Orders Trump To Fly Terrorist Gang Members Back To U.s.; O.k. Corral Moment With Petty Dictators Comes Closer

Classic Westerns thrive on gradually ratcheting tension. Think back to High Noon or Tombstone: A community's getting terrorized by the ruthless and the lawless, who have either coopted or cowed the official "lawmen," leaving honest citizens defenseless. The public's only hope is that some Outsider, a crack shot with a clean heart, will step in to protect them and purge this den of thieves.
But he's not eager to fight. He has seen too much bloodshed before. The Outsider would rather lay down his gun, find somebody to love, and pursue a peaceful life.
But the violence keeps escalating. The outlaws’ thuggishness gets more brazen the longer they get away with preying upon the populace. The hapless sheriff lets one of the bandits humiliate him in public. He shrugs and slinks back home just to save his skin. The anarchy intensifies as women and children start getting hurt.
And the Outsider watches this all, silently seething, as his sense of justice and decency gradually overwhelm his weariness, to the point that he finally buckles on his gun. (This usually happens around 90 minutes into the film, which screenwriters call the beginning of Act III.) At that point, the Outsider sacrifices his dream of peace and quiet and risks everything he has to protect the innocent and hunt all the predators down.
I think we just entered Act III in Donald Trump's remake of Tombstone.
A Criminal Gang in Black Robes
For weeks, lawless lower-court judges have been arrogating the powers of the executive branch of government — forbidding Trump’s duly appointed and confirmed Treasury Secretary from accessing his department’s computers, demanding that Trump rehire useless temporary federal employees, forbidding his appointees from doing their jobs of prudently spending the money allotted to their departments — even enjoining Trump from revoking security clearances from a well-connected Swamp D.C. law firm (i.e., Perkins Coie, the FBI-embedded lawfare shop that produced the phony Steele Dossier). If the president can’t constitutionally decide who gets security clearances and who doesn’t, then who does?
So far, Trump has played by the “rules,” pretending to respect the authority these judges have arrogated by humbly appealing their orders to higher courts. He got smacked down once by the Supreme Court, thanks to another squish vote by the disappointing Justice Amy Coney Barrett. The Left’s strategy of wearing Trump’s momentum down, tangling him like Frodo in Shelob’s lair with a thousand sticky fetters, has so far worked like a charm. All they need to do is keep Trump flailing uselessly, getting smacked down again and again, until his enforced ineffectualness costs the Republicans the midterms. Then it’s back to business as usual, with another election (like the 2016 and 2020 elections) neutered by lawfare or stolen from the people.
But now they’ve gone too far. Like the bandits in a Western slapping the beautiful widow the Outsider loves or shooting down a schoolkid in broad daylight in front of witnesses, the criminals tyrannizing us have crossed a bright red line. They have given Trump what he needs: a reason to step forward and defy them on a cause that the public will cheer.
Bring Those Terrorist Gang Members Right Back Here
A radical leftist judge has thrown a wrench into President Donald Trump's bold mission to secure America's borders and protect its law-abiding citizens from foreign threats.
On Saturday, Chief Judge Judge James E. Boasberg -- an Obama appointee -- issued a temporary restraining order to block the Trump administration from deporting thousands of Venezuelan nationals, including dangerous gang members, under the Alien Enemies Act.
This wartime measure, a cornerstone of executive authority, has been wielded for centuries to expel hostile foreign nationals.
This outrageous ruling comes after far-left activist groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Democracy Forward, rushed to court in a desperate attempt to shield violent illegal immigrants from deportation. …
Boasberg's order halts deportations for the lawsuit's named plaintiffs for a mere 14 days.
Judge Boasberg's radical ruling reached a new level of insanity later on Saturday when he ordered the Trump administration to immediately return planes that were already deporting members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua--one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in the Western Hemisphere.
What do we need to know about Judge Boasberg and his respect for the law? January 6 prisoner advocate Julie Kelly gives us his background:
James Boasberg, along with 16 DC judges, signed off on the unlawful use of 1512c2 — the corporate fraud obstruction statute — against J6ers.
He presided over 70 J6 cases, both guilty pleas and conviction at trial. In nearly every instance, Boasberg imposed prison time even for the...

Corrupt, biased judges have served as the billyclub in the hands of our elites, enforcing Anarcho-Tyranny in America for decades. From baseless Supreme Court decisions banning school prayer, legalizing abortion, and imposing same-sex “marriage” on all 50 states to craven refusals to even consider evidence of election fraud in 2020, the courts have given the veneer of legality to the naked abuse of power by the strong against the weak. Our churches were closed and we were locked in our homes, forced to take risky immoral vaccines with our speech censored and our streets terrorized by rioters while peaceful protestors languished in prison — and our courts did less than nothing about it. With very few exceptions, they sided with the tyrants.
Now, when voters have used their last desperate weapon, electing Donald Trump despite all those warnings that he is literally Hitler, those same courts are trying to cripple his presidency via the death of a thousand cuts. Can you imagine the furor that would have erupted had Republican-appointed judges enjoined every significant executive order Barack Obama issued? You don’t need to. Look what leftists did when Roe v. Wade was in danger: They mobbed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home, and one of those leftists tried to assassinate him. That was not far off Sen. Chuck Schumer’s script. He’d openly warned the Court of “consequences” if it assailed such lawless precedents.
Now Trump is dusting off his six-shooter, defying Boasberg’s illegal order. Again via Gateway Pundit:
Despite Boasberg's radical ruling, the Trump administration refused to comply with the unconstitutional order.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that hundreds of TDA gang members were successfully deported last night before the judge could interfere.
"We have sent 2 dangerous top MS-13 leaders plus 21 of its most wanted back to face justice in El Salvador," said Rubio.
"Also, as promised by POTUS, we sent over 250 alien enemy members of Tren de Aragua which El Salvador has agreed to hold in their very good jails at a fair price that will also save our taxpayer dollars. President Nayib Bukele is not only the strongest security leader in our region, he's also a great friend of the U.S. Thank you!"
If you’d like to read the Trump team’s legal arguments, you can find them right here.
So far, many conservatives have consoled themselves with talk of impeaching judges like Boasberg. That’s pointless; the Constitution rightly makes impeachment very difficult, and the votes for it don’t exist. In any case, there are hundreds more judges where Boasberg came from, and each seems to think he has national jurisdiction to step in and veto the president’s constitutional actions.
No, the right way is this: Defy such judges’ orders, treating them as null and void. Not just on deportation, but on every case that comes up. And if the Supreme Court sides against the Constitution, defy that court as well. Then if Democrats aren’t happy, they can try to impeach President Trump — which is very difficult, and the votes for it don’t exist. They’ve tried it twice before, along with trying to imprison him, bankrupt his family, jail his supporters, and arguably let assassins get within shooting distance. Trump isn’t afraid anymore.
In the end, none of this is about the Constitution or the law. It’s a test of wills, a gunfight. And this time Trump didn’t bring a pocket knife.
The “Abuse Crisis” in the Southern Baptist Convention Never Existed, Justice Department Reveals
Remember Russell Moore? He’s now leading a bunch of Act Blue and Kamala Harris donors at Christianity Today, but he was once a major figure among Christian conservatives — whom he shamed, lectured, and smeared if they supported Donald Trump. He was also one of the main people amplifying the claim that the conservative leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention was complicit in covering up sex abuse. People took that bait, and the denomination spent millions investigating itself. Conservative seminary presidents lost their jobs, and woke influencers blamed “purity culture” and “patriarchy” for the “systemic” scandal.
Anything come of all that? The U.S. Department of Justice has spoken up, and announced that it found a whole lot of nothing. It has filed zero charges against anyone. As the Center for Baptist Leadership reports:
As Denny Burk put it, "Here's bottom line on the SBC abuse 'crisis.' There wasn't one. A federal investigation closed after making one arrest--not for abuse but for making false statements under oath. An independent investigation by Guidepost Solutions found no systemic problem with abuse at the SBC Executive Committee. We have spent about $14 million in legal fees as a result of investigations that uncovered no systemic problems with abuse."
Indeed, there was no "crisis." But there were plenty of crisis merchants and fearmongerers who used this lie to destroy good men (like Mike Stone) in their quest for political power.
Russell Moore, in his infamous "leaked" letters, peddled a narrative of systemic corruption and cover-up within the SBC Executive Committee (EC). This was demagoguery of the worst sort. It was a tale steeped in half-truths and self-righteousness, meant to whip messengers into a frenzy. …
Moore's accusations -- amplified by a complicit secular media and parroted by activists with axes to grind -- claimed the EC was a den of rape, molestation, and bigotry, covering up a vast conspiracy of abuse. He exited to Christianity Today, where he claimed, "I cannot help but wonder what else this can be called but a criminal conspiracy."
Yet, after over two years of relentless scrutiny, from the costly Guidepost investigation to the DOJ's probe under a Biden administration hardly sympathetic to conservative Christians, not one charge of sexual abuse emerges from the Executive Committee. Zero. Nada. Nothing.
There was no lone wolf, let alone a conspiracy.
If there any Southern Baptists eager to expose sexual scandals, let me invite them to investigate instead Cardinal Robert McElroy, Pope Francis’s radical leftist appointee as Archbishop of Washington. He is credibly accused of covering up unspeakable ritual abuse by one of his priests, and punting on protecting children for years. Perhaps Baptist volunteers could join us Catholics who are calling for the DOJ to launch a RICO investigation against the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for human trafficking and enabling child abuse. It would make a fine ecumenical gesture, and we could keep those people busy for years.
Trump Reverses Biden-Era “Let’s Start World War III” Policy
Finally. The Trump administration has stepped energetically forward as a mediator and peacemaker in Ukraine, and begun to normalize relations with Russia. The Left went from Barack Obama mocking Mitt Romney as a warmonger for criticizing Vladimir Putin to Joe Biden using U.S. satellites to aim Ukrainian drones at Russian civilian neighborhoods. And why? Because Hillary Clinton’s campaign team thought “Russian collusion” would be a useful weapon to beat Donald Trump. Seriously. The U.S. has been on a hair-trigger for war against nuclear-armed Russia for four long years purely because of cynical Democratic political games. And Trump has finally ended that madness:
Wow. Trump is actually preventing WW3.
Putin speaks on "restoring Russian-American relations," and says that Trump is "doing everything possible" to reverse the damage caused by the Biden administration.
