Qb Joe Burrow's Official Game Status For Patriots Matchup Revealed
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Bengals will now have until 4 p.m. ET on Saturday to activate the star quarterback to their active roster. That provides the best timeline for when we'll know if the Bengals intend to play Burrow or not. He was reportedly limited at practice on Friday, despite being a full participant throughout the week.
The Bengals have a quick turnaround with their Thanksgiving game scheduled for next Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens. They could be ramping Burrow up for that game instead, while hoping veteran Joe Flacco and company take care of business at home against the Patriots this week.
Or, they might really be considering letting Burrow take the field, even if he isn't 100 percent healed from his toe injury. The Bengals are desperate right now with a 3-7 record and a head coach on the hot seat. They can't afford another loss this season.
