Drowning In Credit Card Debt Since Getting Sick

No idea how to tackle it. Bring it on! Leave your judgement and insults in your bathroom, I beat myself up enough thank you very much.

In BC Canada, I opened a solo plumbing business on my own, was making progress and decent money. Had some minor health issues which led to a hard year mentally, didn’t inquire about disability nor do I think I would have received it. Kept thinking it would pass and mental health isn’t usually considered a disability and no energy to fight for it.

$45,000 later credit card debt accumulation of materials I hadn’t paid off yet like hot water tanks and parts, and personal everyday everything, utilities, food. Never been in this position. Crawling out of the depths, started work again this month, feeling good, will pick up as I go, the income will be there, albeit a slow road to pay of $45,000 with interest.

3 separate cards, all relatively close in interest. I want to just pay off the looming, dark, soul sucking credit card debt all at once and stop floundering in the interest.

I didn’t want to do a solvency or make a big move like that, last resort anyways. I need names, I need best loans in BC or Canada with low interest, if there’s such a thing. I need the best approach, tips, tricks, anything. Line of credit from bank to pay it all off? Apply for a loan somewhere? Who would lend me $45,000 when my income was never crazy high.

Brutal I finally opened my life long dream of my own plumbing gig after working for others my whole life, and just as I’m getting started, life happened I guess.

Thanks
