Pointing out that they were warned well before the election that Donald Trump would act as a wrecking ball on the economy if he was re-elected, the entire panel on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" pounced on Wall Street executives who are watching in horror as the stock market collapses.

With co-host Joe Scarborough saying he didn't want to hear any more complaining about how Trump's promised tariffs are doing exactly what was foretold by crippling businesses and causing an investor panic, he added wealthy pro-Trump Wall Street types are getting their comeuppance.

"I mean, I just don't know how anybody could be surprised' he explained. "Well, this is the problem that, again, he's said he was going to do this for 40 years. And I've been hearing from people on Wall Street, I've been hearing talk from CEOs they're shocked, " Scarborough said before laughing and saying, "Where have you been for the past year as he promised to do all these things?"

"I mean he [Trump] meant what he said [about tariffs] and so I just don't want to hear 'Oh, I'm so shocked, I'm losing money,'" Scarborough lectured.

"There's a lot of gobsmacked CEOs and business leaders saying 'I didn't think he would do this,' and I think increasingly people are understanding that he is serious about many of the ideas that he has put on the table, that he did during the campaign," co-host Mika Brzezinski pointed out.

"I will say, well we tried our best," Scarborough added. "I mean, if people are constantly watching news organizations that follow only what Trump says and not necessarily the facts, then they will find out the hard way."

With co-host Jonathan Lemire suggesting Wall Street investors who cheered Trump on "Bet wrong," Scarborough later stated, "Screw around and find out."
